On June 19, the Sichuan Provincial Energy Administration issued the Notice on Organizing and Conducting the Application for National-Level Hydrogen Energy Pilot Work in the Energy Sector.
Sichuan Province pointed out that it has abundant hydrogen sources, a relatively complete industry chain, and broad application demonstration scenarios, providing a solid foundation for pilot demonstration. All units are requested to actively apply in accordance with the relevant requirements for national pilot applications and submit the application materials to the General Office of the Sichuan Provincial Energy Administration before July 7. The Sichuan Provincial Energy Administration will entrust a third-party organization to organize and conduct the evaluation work.

To further innovate the hydrogen energy management model and explore diversified development paths for the hydrogen energy industry, the National Energy Administration is focusing on the full-chain development of hydrogen energy, including "production, storage, transportation, and utilization," to carry out hydrogen energy pilot work in the energy sector.
